Refund Policy

1. General Refund Terms

Merit Sparrow Study Abroad Consultancy (“Merit Sparrow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) maintains a transparent refund policy to ensure clarity and fairness in all transactions. By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
  • Refund requests will be entertained only before the commencement of the admission process.
  • Once the admission process has begun, no refunds shall be issued under any circumstances.
  • The admission process is considered initiated once Merit Sparrow has begun profiling, university shortlisting, or application submission on behalf of the student.

2. Partial Refund Eligibility

If a student does not secure admission to any university, they are eligible for the following:
  • A 70% refund of the total amount paid, excluding any non-refundable processing fees.
  • Alternatively, the student may opt for a free next intake application without incurring additional charges.

3. Non-Refundable Services

The following services and fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of application outcome:
  • Any third-party service costs, including but not limited to:
    • Language Learning Platforms (e.g., Babble+ for German language learning)
    • Exam Preparation Platforms (e.g., Magoosh for IELTS, TOEFL, GRE)
    • Loan and Scholarship Assistance Services (WeMakeScholars)
    • Visa Mock Interview Platforms
    • Preptical IELTS Mock Tests
  • Processing fees, administrative charges, and consultation fees.
  • Fees paid to third-party institutions, government agencies, or embassies for application processing.

4. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be credited via the original payment method or an alternative method agreed upon by both parties.
  • Any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency exchange fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refundable amount.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, students must:
  • Submit a written refund request via email to info@meritsparrow.com.
  • Provide proof of payment and details of services availed.
  • Specify the reason for the refund request.

6. Modification of Refund Policy

Merit Sparrow reserves the right to update, modify, or amend this Refund Policy at its sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Refund Policy.
